Biosketch

Jessica Barker is the Special Assistant to the Executive Officer of NIH Clinical Center. Her responsibilities include providing comprehensive analytical and management support to the NIH CC Executive Officer. As the Special Assistant, she served as the NIH CC Deputy Coordinator for Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) in 2019. She is a member of the NIH CC CFC Core Team, Emergency Working Group, and the Travel Task Force.

Ms. Barker began administrative work at the NIH in 2018. She started as an intern through the Pathways program at the Office of Administrative Management (OAM) in the NIH Clinical Center. She then converted to an Administrative Assistant to the Chief of OAM before becoming a Special Assistant to NIH CC Executive Officer.

Ms. Barker holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Health Administration and a Master’s Degree in Information Systems from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County.
