Biosketch

Ms. Cheryl Swinson, serves as the Acting Chief of the Patient Support Services Department. She started her career at National Institutes of Health in 2010 with the Nursing Department as Clinical Operation Manager for Ambulatory Care Services; which became the Patient Support Services Department. Her role as Clinical Operation Manager provided supervision of administrative support throughout 27 areas in the Clinical Center, which included Admissions/Voucher Offices,13 Outpatient Clinics, Rehab Medicine, Call Center, and Radiology/Diagnostic areas.

Ms. Swinson is a native of North Carolina and a retired veteran of the United States Air Force. She earned a BS in Nursing and Psychology from University of North Carolina at Greensboro and a MA in Management and Leadership from Webster University in St Louis, Missouri.
