NIHCC Treasure Tour Frequently Asked Questions
Treasure Tour is a fun, interactive online game that introduces pediatric patients to the NIH Clinical Center. Kids can customize their character avatar, learn about the spaces they may visit and be able to explore the hospital in a creative way before visiting in person.
The game is aimed at children, teens and their families to better help them understand the layout of the hospital, and some of the services and procedures patients might undergo onsite. The primary audience for the game is pediatric patients aged 7 to 18 who have been accepted into a clinical research study at Building 10 on the NIH campus.
The game can be played as a browser-based (Chrome, Firefox, Edge) WebGL version on laptop or desktop computers and is available for free download on iOS devices in the App Store or Android devices in the Google Play Store. All versions provide the same experience.
