Dr. Regenold and his team at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) are leading a study to explore an investigational new, non-invasive brain stimulation technique to see if it can safely support people experiencing symptoms of depression.
You may qualify if you're currently experiencing depression from Major Depressive or Bipolar Disorder, have tried at least two treatments without improvement, are 25–64 years old, and are in stable physical health.
This inpatient study at the NIH Clinical Center lasts at least five weeks and involves brain imaging, blood work, anesthesia, and Transcranial Electric Stimulation Therapy (TEST).
