MD, Ross University School of Medicine

Dr. Singh has been a staff clinician with the Internal Medicine Consult Service since September 2018.

She earned her BA from Georgetown University in 2003 and worked for a few years as an English and Latin teacher prior to pursuing her MD from Ross University School of Medicine, graduating in 2012.

She completed her internal medicine residency at the Marshfield Clinic/St. Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield, Wisconsin, in 2015 and then went on to do a chief year in Quality Improvement and Patient Safety at the VA hospital in Loma Linda, CA. In that role, she investigated and presented cases highlighting areas for improvement to the department of medicine, mentored residents in clinical care and QI, and initiated a program fostering self-reflection among trainees to optimize their clinical practice.

She moved back to Maryland in 2016 where she worked as a general hospitalist from 2016-2018 before starting at the NIH.

She loves that her current position allows her to serve the research mission and to learn about the tireless efforts of our research teams. Her particular interests include medical education, mental health, and nutrition.
