Dr. Holly A. Taylor is Research Bioethicist in the Department of Bioethics.


Dr. Taylor is a social scientist by training and has 20 years experience conducting quantitative and qualitative research in the field of research ethics, including informed consent for research participation, subject selection and recruitment and research oversight.

Prior to joining the Department of Bioethics she was an Associate Professor, Department of Health Policy and Management, Bloomberg School of Public Health and Core Faculty, Berman Institute of Bioethics, Johns Hopkins University. She has experience with research ethics consultation and has served on Institutional Review Boards in the academic, public and private sector.
