As the Section Chief of Central Pharmacy, Dr. Falguni Kanthan works in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team inside and outside the Pharmacy Department to improve inpatient and outpatient pharmacy services.

Dr. Kanthan joined the NIH Clinical Center Department of Pharmacy in March of 2008 as a staff pharmacist. Over the past 12 years, Dr. Kanthan has been dedicated to the mission of NIH and the Department of Pharmacy. Her extensive background in the Unit Dose and IVAU Pharmacy as well as the Pharmacy Informatics group has brought her to a new, more challenging leadership role as Section Chief of Central Pharmacy. Dr. Kanthan brings over 20 years of Pharmacy experience.
Outside of her professional life, she enjoys beautiful crystal clear beaches of the Caribbean, travelling with her family, and supporting the Dallas Cowboys.
