We are delighted to announce that Yonni and Chiae, South Korean siblings and YouTube stars with over 1.65 million subscribers, will perform a special musical session in the NIH Atrium. This inspiring performance is part of the BelongMed Conference 2024, hosted by the Korean Women in Science and Engineering (KWiSE) at the National Institutes of Health (NIH).
Yonni and Chiae, siblings Wonki Hong (18) and Suhye Hong (16), share a remarkable story of resilience and artistry. Yonni, also known as Wonki, is one of only 150 individuals worldwide living with Hutchinson-Gilford Progeria Syndrome, a rare genetic condition. Despite the unique challenges he faces, their channel beautifully captures the joy, strength, and resilience in their daily lives.
Yonni, a gifted pianist, captivates audiences with his moving piano performances, while Chiae, skilled in music and video production, brings their content to life with creativity and artistry. Together, they offer a unique and deeply touching perspective on life, expressed through music and storytelling. This event takes place in the CC North Atrium.
