Opioid Use Disorder (OUD)

Researchers at the National Institutes of Health Clinical Center in Bethesda, MD, seek healthy volunteers for a research study on opioid use disorder (OUD). The purpose of this research study is to learn how opiate use disorder affects dopamine signaling in the brain of people dependent on opioids.

Study Information:

  • This research study involves a screening day, and up to three study days
  • You will have a medical examination and a personal interview to see if you meet criteria for the study
  • Compensation is provided
  • All study-related tests and procedures are provided at no cost

You can participate in this study if you:

  • Are 20-65 years old
  • Are healthy and without addiction to opioids

Location: The NIH Clinical Center, America's research hospital, is conveniently located on the Metro Red Line (Medical Center stop) in Bethesda, MD.
