The National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases is seeking patients with Crohn's disease. Researchers are investigating if Vorinostat is safe for people with Crohn's Disease. Participants will receive maintenance therapy with Stelara® after successful treatment with Vorinostat. Study-related tests, medication and procedures are provided at no cost. The National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute invites patients 18 and older with sickle cell anemia including HbSS, HbS-β0 thalassemia to participate in a research study evaluating the best noninvasive predictor of renal function. The results of this research study may help to ensure the most accurate assessment of kidney function. Compensation provided. Food allergy? National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases researchers are seeking volunteers two and older who have at least one food allergy to participate in a study to better understand how food allergies affect health. Participants receive a comprehensive nutritional evaluation and meet with a dietitian for individualized counseling. Compensation for participation is provided. Healthy volunteers are needed for a research study that is collecting bone marrow samples. Samples will be used for clinical research in the Hematology Branch and are indispensable for many research projects, including studies of normal and abnormal blood cells in the human body, blood diseases, the role of the immune system in marrow failure and the genetic risk factors for aplastic anemia.
