Dan Fogarty
Biosketch
Dan Fogarty has more than 10 years of experience in healthcare management and strategic communication. Dan earned his Master’s in Health Communication from Johns Hopkins University in 2012. Dan has served as the Chief Administrative Officer, Office of Intramural Management (OIM), National Heart, Lung and Blood Institute for eight years.
Dan is the Chief Administrative Officer of the NIH Clinical Center. In addition, he is a Senior Advisor to the Deputy Director for Intramural Research, NIH, served as Chair of the IAMC and was a member of the NIH Optimize Title 42 working group. Dan is an active, voting member on the NIH Child Care Advisory Board and recently served on the NIH HR Advisory Committee and an active invited member in NIH Future of Work and Return to the Physical Workplace initiatives and workgroups.
In 2021, Dan earned the distinct credential of board certification in healthcare management as a Fellow of the ACHE (FACHE).
Dan is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives. He has consulted for a variety of healthcare organizations in strategic communication and operational initiatives. Dan is a co-author on the recently published - Enduring Alzheimer's: Practical Tips for Caring for Your Loved One and Yourself: A curated collection of information for families and caregivers of Alzheimer's and other dementia diseases patients. In addition, Dan recently was selected as a panelist at the Gov Exec BOLD event on the Mission Imperative for Innovation and an invited interviewee on the Connecting During The COVID-19 Global Crisis webinar.
