On November 13, 2012, the NIH Clinical Center hosted the 3rd Annual NIH Clinical Center Family Caregiver Day in celebration of National Family Caregiver Month.
This one day event was held in the CC and included an Informational Fair & Expo featuring representatives from local and national caregiver resource organizations, an interactive art project, NIH campus nature walk, interactive sessions on mind-body techniques, walking meditation using the "Guided Labyrinth", 30 minute relaxation chair sessions and NIH Patient Library, recreational, nutritional, social and mental health resources for family caregivers.
