The NINDS Clinical Neurocardiology Section (CNCS) offers education and training in autonomic and catecholamine-related disorders such as Parkinson disease, utilizing physiologic, pharmacologic, neurochemical, and neuroimaging assessments that taken together constitute the most comprehensive clinical laboratory testing program in existence for these disorders. The Catecholamine Resource of the CNCS is a unique, world renowned neurochemistry laboratory that assays levels of catecholamines and their metabolites as part of collaborative preclinical and clinical research and for diagnostic purposes under CLIA certification.
