The Interventional Oncology group, a partnership between the Clinical Center Radiology and Imaging Sciences Department and the National Cancer Institute, has developed an image guided drug + device paradigm for image guided drug delivery and multimodality navigation of “Medical GPS” enabled treatment needles and catheters for local and regional cancer therapies.
