Volunteers Needed for Vasculitis Study

Vasculitis Study

The National Institute of Arthritis and Musculoskeletal and Skin Diseases at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) in Bethesda, Maryland is conducting a study for vasculitis.

The main goals of this study are:

  • To understand what causes vasculitis
  • To discover markers in blood that may help doctors treat vasculitis
  • To use imaging scans to look at blood vessels affected by vasculitis

Researchers are inviting both volunteers who have the condition, and those who do not, to participate in this study. All study-related tests and procedures are provided at no cost to you.

A patient may be eligible if you:

  • Are 5 years of age or older
  • Have been diagnosed with any type of vasculitis or your doctor may think you have vasculitis
  • Agree to participate

A healthy volunteer may be eligible if you:

  • Are 5 years of age or older
  • Do not have vasculitis
  • Agree to participate

Location: The NIH Clinical Center, America's research hospital, is conveniently located on the Metro Red Line (Medical Center stop) in Bethesda, Maryland. Parking is provided at no cost.
