Greetings and welcome to NIH Clinical Center Grand Rounds, recorded January 26, 2011 at America's Clinical Research Hospital, the Clinical Center at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland, an agency of the United States Department of Health and Human Services. Today two clinical researchers discuss two related concepts. Dr. Jack Yanovski, Chief of the Section on Growth and Obesity in the Program in Developmental Endocrinology and Genetics at the Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Human Development will discuss "Pharmacotherapy for Pediatric Obesity." He'll be followed by Dr. Kristina Rother, staff clinician in the Endocrinology Branch at the National Institute of Diabetes and Kidney Diseases, who will discuss "Challenges of the Rising Incidence of Childhood Diabetes."
