ANNOUNCER: Greetings and welcome to NIH Clinical Center Grand Rounds, recorded May 26th, 2010 at America's Clinical Research Hospital, the Clinical Center at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland, an agency of the United States Department of Health and Human Services. Today, two speakers from the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases. Dr. Joshua Milner, tenure-track investigator and chief of the Allergic Inflammation Unit of the Laboratory of Infectious Diseases will present, "Roles for STAT3 in Human Immune Responses and Atopy". He'll be followed by Dr. Kenneth Olivier, staff clinician in the Immunopathogenesis Section in the Laboratory of Clinical Infectious Diseases at the NIAID. He will discuss, "Disrupted Airway Defenses and Environmental Infection Susceptibility."
