Today, two speakers on the subject of sepsis. Dr. Anthony F. Suffrendini, senior investigator and associate chief of the Critical Care Medicine Department at the NIH Clinical Center will discuss "Updates in the Pathogenesis and Therapy of Sepsis." He will be followed by Dr. Robert Munford, senior clinician in the Laboratory of Clinical Infectious Diseases at the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, who will discuss, "Sepsis: Another Look at Pathogenesis."
