Ronald M. Summers, MD, PhD
Dr. Ronald M. Summers is a radiologist in
the Diagnostic Radiology Department at the Clinical Center, National Institutes
of Health. His research interests are virtual bronchoscopy, analysis of
surface morphology of blood vessel and airway walls, and magnetic resonance
imaging of atherosclerosis. He received his medical and Ph.D. degrees from
the University of Pennsylvania, did his radiology residency at the University
of Michigan, and did an MRI fellowship at Duke University. He has authored
over 25 manuscripts and conference proceedings articles.
