Catherine K. Chow, MD

Dr. Catherine K. Chow is chief of mammography of the Diagnostic Radiology Department, Clinical Center, National Institutes of Health. Dr. Chow received her medical degree from University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, Texas, and completed residency training at Georgetown University Medical Center. Dr. Chow did her fellowship in cross sectional imaging at Georgetown University Medical in 1989-1990. Dr. Chow joined the Diagnostic Radiology Department, Clinical Center, in 1990.

She has authored or co-authored over 18 manuscripts and is a member of RSNA.

Dr. Chow's research interests include breast MRI screening in high-risk women; tamoxifen-induced changes in mammograms of premenopausal women; and breast cancer staging and therapy.
