John I. GallinAs we think about how to implement the broadened vision of the NIH Clinical Center to encourage access of external investigators to our special services, we welcome input from the NIH and broader communities. Read more about this in the Scientific Management Review Board “Report on the NIH Clinical Center.” PDF Icon (4 MB)

The NIH issued a Request for Information (RFI) in October to solicit input on potential opportunities for the external community involving use of the NIH Clinical Center, in collaboration with the NIH intramural community. These partnerships will help enhance translation of basic biological discoveries into clinical applications that improve health. Responses to RFI (NOT-OD-12-005) were accepted through December 1, 2011.

Our goal is to make the Clinical Center more available to improve human health by enabling translational research.  Please use this site to give us feedback on what would add value to the translational sciences.  I look forward to hearing from you.
