Biosketch
Thomas M. Dushney, Jr. has a BS Degree in Accounting from the Robert H. Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland. He has over 20 years experience in both the private sector and the Federal Government. During most of his early career, Tom occupied positions in accounting in several large nationally recognized not-for-profit organizations including serving as the Assistant Controller for the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials, the precursor to the Federal Highway Administration. He also worked briefly as a contractor at PriceWaterhouseCoopers. In early 2003, Tom joined the NIH Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute for Child Health and Human Development (NICHD). Tom has served most recently as Administrative Officer for the NICHD with administrative responsibility for 7 labs, a $7,000,000 budget and over 100 staff. As an Administrative Officer in the Office of Administrative Management at the Clinical Center, Tom presently services the administrative needs of Radiology and Imaging Sciences, the Centers of Excellence and the Office of Clinical Research Training and Medical Education.
