Biosketch

Dr. Chen completed her undergraduate studies at Princeton University, graduating in 1978. She earned her Doctorate in Medicine from Cornell University Medical College in 1982. She completed a residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Minnesota in 1985 and a Nuclear Medicine residency at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine/Montefiore Medical Center in New York in 1989. She is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Nuclear Medicine.

Dr. Chen has been a Staff Nuclear Medicine physician in the Clinical Center Nuclear Medicine Department since 1989. She became the Section Chief of the Clinical Studies Section in 1998 and Deputy Chief of the Department in 2006.

Dr. Chen’s main clinical research activities have recently been in imaging of pheochromocytoma and oncology.
