Ordered Region Growing Skeletonization of Magnetic Resonance Angiography

The ORG skeletonization algorithem has been implemented as a plug-in module for the 3D visualization package ETDIPS for Windows/NT platform. Click on this link to download the ETDIPS and ORG plug-ins without charge.

IRIS Modules also provide an easy way to share functionality, without the need to understand the underlying program or algorithm. Below are modules for Ordered Region Growing Skeletonization.

Please click on the files below and add the module to your IRIS Explorer.

Org.tar (Unix Tar Files) Use tar -xvf org.tar to uncompress after saving this file to your unix workstation.

This software is described more fully in manuscript: Gray-scale skeletonization of small vessels in magnetic resonance angiography.

Application of this method to delineation of abdomenal arteries is described in: Hepatic MR Angiography: A Multiobserver Comparison of Visualization Methods, AJR.
