Biosketch
Dr. Jones completed her undergraduate studies at Georgetown University, in 1979. She earned her Doctorate in Medicine from Duke University in 1985. After serving an Internship in Medicine at the Boston University Affiliated Hospitals, 1985-86, she completed a Residency in Diagnostic Radiology in 1986-90 and an Abdominal Imaging fellowship 1991, at Emory University. She has been Board Certified in Diagnostic Radiology by the American Board of Radiology since 1990. In 2000, Dr. Jones completed an MPH at Johns Hopkins University and in 2009 an MBA from the University of Maryland's Smith School of Business.
Dr. Jones has been a Staff Radiologist in Radiology and Imaging Sciences at the Clinical Center since 1992. She became Deputy Director of the Imaging Sciences program in 2004 and served as Clinical Acting Chief Radiology from 2006-2008.
She is currently section head of the body imaging section.
